Seraphinus is a powerful Western fire dragon on a vengeful rampage after dragon hunters murdered the last of his family, Ninurta is a frightened young Russian dragon held captive for the novelty. In a futile effort to ward off the oncoming slaughter his handlers try to make him fight the monstrous dragon.

Initial rough thumbnail sketch of this particular concept.
The thumbnail sketch was then redrawn and tested for a better composition and to plan out more details.
I then experimented with colours using layer blending modes over the top to find the most suitable mood for the piece.
